This is the Sea
This Is the Sea charts the musical endeavours of Gary O'Keefe, a folk-rock songwriter originating from Coventry, England.
O'Keefe's somewhat brutally honest and open songwriting style sees a heart on sleeve musicality meet lyrics that lay themselves bare; recalling lived experiences and finding catharsis in the journey through them.
O'Keefe had previously operated as front-man and principle songwriter of indie rock band Bootleg Poets, but was brought out of a self-imposed exile when asked by Augustines' William McCarthy, to support him on a UK tour in the summer of 2018.
This is the Sea, will be providing entertainment on the night and briefly talking about a subject that means a lot to him, mental health. He'll cover how it's OK to not be OK.
You can check out his Spotify single here.
